stars scattered as kisses
blink seductively
safety at a distance
shielded against insistence
floating between the ethereal realms
of flesh and blood solidity
and aural inconsistency
a picture of divinity
thoughts humble your flight and fancy
to dream is unreality?
it all becomes a phantasy
of which you think is fallacy
a celestial canary
caged within it's galaxy
but in reality quite the contrary
the doors are open to set you free
a mane of mist
that floats with ease
silent kisses induce envy
cumulus dreams forever please
Wall Street Occupied
Sprawled, ample backsides on damp concrete, serious teachers
scribble red-ink comment down the weary margins of homework,
giving praise or encouragement, a checkmark, the letter grade
that causes a student’s stomach to sink or swim, working
on the weekend in topsy-turvy times, pleading for their jobs.
They’ve come from Jersey City, Brooklyn, the Bronx, street smart,
accredited, knowing 1984 IS NOT AN INSTRUCTIONAL MANUAL.
They are fighting City Hall and the Governors in Trenton and Albany,

Open doors hinges
Allow the door to close shut
As well as open
Cast not your cold eye
Horseman... Just pass by: think not
Of Death and Life
None have walked here since
The door forever was closed
First feet walk in time
Back in April this year I decided to challenge myself to write a poem every day for a year. I was unaware that April was poetry month and lots of people were writing a poem every day in April. Of course doing this some of the poems tend to be a bit rubbishy, but the discipline of doing it is wonderful and I would not like to have missesd out on some of the poems I have written. Without the discipline they would not have been written.
Transformation, Paradigm shift, or something like it
Listening to the last old farts cavorting on television
in HD glory as their lifeless Sharkskin suits swallows their sallow, tanned hide
their lip-less mouths yapping like Gidget the Taco Bell doggie
oh wait, it is the old thinking in the new class of young farts
in Seersucker suits and Bermuda hats, donning wrap around Ray Ban glasses
with faux leather Penny loafers adorning their pedicured footsies
While the oil from the blowout well
will kill the Gulf of Mexico
This poem describes my hopes for my identity as well as where I am now.
I want to be amazing
I want to love so deeply
that even the birds don't know what to sing
I want to be crazy
but most of all, I want to be ok with being crazy
I want to look out into the world
and shout "Here I am!"
I want to lay my heart out
exposed for all to see
without a single part to hide
Because I want to be safe
and I want to know that I can wake up every single day
and stare at myself in the mirror and smile
I'm done hiding
I'm done shying away from every obstacle
Standing at the threshold
of Death's ultimate door,
my last gasp escapes me...
As I've never experienced before.
Into the Heavenly realm
I ascend in wonderment,
now housed in an incorruptible body
and thankful that from sin I did repent.
Standing in God's throne room
freed of all Earthly flesh,
my spiritual essence is energized
and feeling fully refreshed.
Now gathered unto my Savior,
unencumbered reality is more than it seems;
for to be in His Presence
is my accomplished dream.
Having been given my kingly reward,
in these times of everlasting days,
Withering grass of this season
with your abundance of green,
take advantage of Today -
Contribute to this Earthly scene.
Enjoy your present strength;
ignore worries of the past.
Let the distant failures fade
and let sweeter memories last.
Be true to yourself always,
standing tall and strong.
Focus on your own meadows and...
Learn to hum to Life's song.

Turing testing for the metro sexual
algorithms to seek truth
that defy the seduction of the sensual skin
In this the new decade of the next century
the line between decadence and decay
of the mind and the body is erased
Fetish and grandeur
vinyl meeting fur
but the commonality is and will always be titanium spiked heels
Drums driving the big beat
flashing baby spots and the haze of overheated fog machines
the poles smeared with lipstick and glitter
Sisters and brothers
transcend the jungle and asphalt
humans' doing the antler dance
